Godox LR150 Ring Light: What to Know
The Godox LR150 (the base bi-color version, not the newer inflatable "LR150 Air") is an 18-inch ring light aimed at photographers and hybrid shooters rather than app-first streamers. It's controlled entirely through an onboard control box with a physical dial and small display, not a smartphone app, the app-controlled variant is a different, separately sold product ("LR150 Air"), so don't assume app control just because it shares the LR150 name.
On specs, sources disagree in ways worth flagging rather than glossing over. Godox's own U.S. retail page lists a color temperature range of 2700-6500K, CRI≥96 and TLCI≥98, and 610-685 lux at 1 meter (varying by color temperature). The Amazon listing copy for this same product line instead advertises a 3000-6000K range and "CRI 90+." We could not independently verify which figure is more current, and it's possible the discrepancy reflects a spec update between production runs or simply inconsistent marketing copy between the brand's site and third-party retail listings. The safer number to plan around is the more conservative one on each spec: CRI 90+ and roughly 600-700 lux at 1 meter.
Physically, the LR150 is powered via an included AC adapter, has 180° head rotation for angle adjustment, and includes a USB port on the control box for charging a phone. Bundle configurations vary, some Amazon listings pair the bare light with just a phone holder, others add a 70-78 inch tripod stand, so check exactly what's included before buying, since the base ASIN referenced here (B08F41G9CQ) is listed as the light alone in some configurations.
