Lume Cube Ring Light: What to Know
This is Lume Cube's standard 18-inch ring light, distinct from the pricier "Ring Light Pro" version that adds a remote and internal battery. Per Lume Cube's own product page, this model uses 448 LEDs to produce 528 lumens of output, rated at 900 lux at 0.5 meters, across a 3200-5600K bi-color range with a disclosed CRI of 96+. That CRI figure ties Neewer for among the highest disclosed in this comparison, though its color temperature range is the narrowest of the five, it doesn't reach as far into warm or cool extremes as the Elgato, Neewer, or Weeylite lights.
Control is entirely physical: Lume Cube markets this model on "smooth stepless controls" via dials built into the light housing, with no app and no bundled remote (those are features of the separate Ring Light Pro). That makes it the second dial-only light in this guide alongside the Godox LR150, appealing to anyone who'd rather not pair a phone to adjust brightness.
The kit includes a stand adjustable up to 6.5 feet, a smartphone mount, an AC power cord, and a padded travel case. Despite the listing title noting "battery not included," the light itself is AC-corded by default; Lume Cube states it's compatible with external Sony NP-750 batteries for cordless use if you buy them separately, which is a narrower battery option than the swappable NP-F/V-mount plate Neewer offers for the RP18B Pro.
Head movement is rated for 180° tilt and 360° rotation, letting you angle the ring independently of the stand once it's positioned.
