Bio Ionic 10X Styling Iron (substituted for Dyson Corrale): What to Know
We could not find a current, in-stock Amazon.com listing for the Dyson Corrale at the time of this research. Every colorway ASIN we checked, including the long-standing Nickel/Fuchsia listing and several special-edition versions, showed as currently unavailable with no working add-to-cart button, and the timing lines up with Dyson's rollout of a newer Corrale CoolShine straightener through its own channels. Rather than link to a dead listing, we substituted the Bio Ionic 10X Styling Iron.
The 10X uses what Bio Ionic calls Moisturizing Heat Technology, ceramic plates infused with volcanic minerals paired with a sonic vibration in the plates that the brand says increases surface contact with each strand for faster, more even styling. It's a different mechanism than Dyson's flexing-plate approach, but a similarly engineering-led pitch: reduce the number of passes and the associated heat exposure rather than just cranking the temperature.
Practically, it's a 1-inch ceramic iron with heat settings up to 450°F, a roughly 10-second heat-up time that's genuinely fast even next to the other irons here, and a rounded barrel that doubles as a curling/waving tool. The moisture-focused pitch is Bio Ionic's own marketing claim; we have not independently verified a measurable hydration difference versus a standard ceramic plate.
