Fancii Vera LED Lighted Vanity Mirror Obsidian: What to Know

The Vera ships in a few finishes, and we specifically chose the Obsidian (black) color over the more commonly recommended Rose Gold. The reason is stock, not looks: at the time we verified this guide, the Rose Gold listing (ASIN B087794KN5) showed only 1 unit left in stock, while this Obsidian listing showed a healthier 7 units — same mirror, same electronics, same price tier, just a meaningfully safer bet for actually being purchasable when a reader clicks through. If you specifically want Rose Gold, search Fancii's Amazon storefront directly and check current stock before ordering.

Fancii calls the light ring its "Tru-Glow" system and markets it as "2x brighter next generation lighting," with three dimmable settings meant to simulate day, evening, and home lighting so you can check a look under something closer to the lighting you'll actually be seen in. Magnification is 1x on the main glass for full-face work, with a detachable magnetic 10x mirror included for tweezing and close-up detail — Fancii's own bullet points note this attachment can be removed when you don't need it.

It's a rechargeable, cordless design Fancii states lasts multiple days per charge, with a 45-degree vertical tilt and a 12-inch-tall footprint meant for a dresser or vanity table rather than wall mounting.

In the interest of not glossing over the negative: Amazon's AI-generated review summary for this listing notes durability complaints from a number of buyers, specifically the metal base cracking or breaking after roughly a year of use, alongside mixed reports on how long the battery holds a charge past the first year. It's a budget-to-mid-range mirror, and that summary is a reasonable read on what "mid-range" risk looks like here.
