Roborock Qrevo Edge: What to Know
The Qrevo Edge's headline feature among the robots in this guide is a built-in voice assistant Roborock says can respond to spoken cleaning commands and run entirely offline, without requiring an internet connection or the companion app, which sets it apart from the more common app-only control schemes on the other four models. Cleaning hardware includes an AdaptiLift chassis that adjusts ride height to handle thresholds up to roughly 4cm, plus a FlexiArm side brush and mop extension designed to reach further into corners and along edges than a fixed-body robot.
Suction is rated at 18,500Pa HyperForce, and the multifunctional dock washes the dual spinning mops with 167F (75C) hot water, dries them with warm air, and automatically refills the onboard water tank. Navigation combines Roborock's PreciSense LiDAR with structured light and an RGB camera for obstacle recognition, which Roborock claims can identify 62 object types across 20 categories and avoid objects as small as roughly 5cm wide and 3cm tall.
The complication is availability and lifecycle. As of our research, Roborock's own US product page for the Qrevo Edge shows it as not currently in stock, and independent reviewers describe it as effectively superseded by the Qrevo Edge 2, which has notably higher suction (25,000Pa). That doesn't make the Qrevo Edge a bad machine on its documented specs, but it does mean current Amazon listings are more likely to be bundle, renewed, or open-box inventory rather than a standard fresh production run, and pricing may be volatile as remaining stock sells through.
