KEYWING 3-in-1 Phone Camera Lens Kit: What to Know
The case for this is three distinct optics for a fraction of the price of a single Moment lens, and the reason to trust it slightly more than its competitors is that KEYWING tells you what it cannot do. Two notes appear in its own bullets: do not use it with a phone case for best effect, and do not use the zoom function, because on most phones zooming switches to a different physical camera that your clip is no longer covering. Both are true of every universal clip kit on the market and almost nobody says so.
The optics are usefully different from each other rather than three versions of wide. The 198 degree fisheye is a genuine effect lens producing extreme barrel distortion, which is either exactly what you want or completely wrong, with no middle ground. The 120 degree super wide is the practical one for interiors and groups. The 20x macro has a stated best focusing distance of 1.18 to 3.54 inches, which is the figure that actually matters on a macro lens because it tells you how close you must get. Each lens detaches and uses the same clip. KEYWING specifies lanthanide optical glass and claims reduced reflection and ghosting, which is a real glass type though no coating detail is given.
The clip is 3.6 cm with soft rubber pads to avoid marking the phone, described as fitting most iPhone, Samsung and Google handsets, and the box includes all three lenses, the clip, a storage bag and a manual. KEYWING adds that for different models you may have to adjust position, which is the honest description of eyeballing a clip.
The detail table is confused, listing a compatible mount of iPhone 6 and focal lengths in centimetres, so ignore it and work from the bullets. KEYWING publishes no manufacturer site.
